Tours
My personal photos from a few of the pop tours I've been involved in - not a collection of pictures of popstars (although they do feature peripherally) but more a photo-travelogue featuring the musicians, sound-men,  lighting-men, security, catering and drivers who do the less glamorous jobs on a large tour.

Steve Martland Band
The Steve Martland Band was my first and still probably the most challenging job as a musician.  The galleries on this website cover the years from 1992; I first joined the band in 1991. It is, unfortunately, far from a complete record, as I missed the gigs in Helsinki and Ljubjiana and failed to take any pictures on several others, particularly those in Britain. I particularly regret taking no pictures when we topped the bill at the 25th anniversary of Prince Charles's inauguration (unfortunately Tom Jones and Paul McCartney pulled out, but I'm sure the  audience of Welsh mining families felt more than compensated by having them replaced them with a 12-piece contemporary-music ensemble).
A couple of the galleries are scanty indeed, and some of the photos are poor quality, but I've included them for the record. Thanks to Pete Orwin for the pictures from Milan.

Others
Everything else.

Gallery
A collection of photos that I regard as my best.

Technical Information
These pictures were taken on a variety of different cameras, namely a Canon EOS-1N, a Contax G1 rangefinder, a Fuji 6x7 MF and a Olympus digicam. A few of the very early ones were taken with a cheap point and shoot (you know who you are).
